Experience traditional Vietnamese craftsmanship in our industrial-style Hanoi workshop.
Born in Hai Phong, Vietnam, Thuy Nguyen has always carried a love for her country wherever life has taken her.
Her journey took her beyond Vietnam to build businesses in China, Hong Kong and South Korea. Along the way, she learned new languages, experienced different cultures and discovered how food, craft and conversation can bring people together.
After years abroad, Thuy returned home with an idea: to create a place where visitors could experience Vietnamese culture not simply by seeing it, but by making something with their own hands.
And so, Chopstick Hanoi was born.
Chopsticks may be an everyday object, but they tell a much bigger story; of craftsmanship, tradition, shared meals and generations gathered around the table. At Chopstick Hanoi, guests transform a simple piece of wood into something personal and a memory of Vietnam to take home.
A passionate cook, yoga enthusiast and cyclist, Thuy speaks four languages and loves meeting travelers from around the world. Chopstick Hanoi brings together many of the things she loves most: Vietnam, food, craftsmanship, culture and people.
After a journey that took her around Asia, Thuy is happy to be home, and looks forward to welcoming you to Hanoi.
